A heartbroken Thai singer, who is popular in China, is demanding an explanation from Thai Airways International over the death of her pet dog during a flight from Bangkok to Shanghai.

Some plastic bags that a dog apparently thought were toys to chew and later left scattered outside a local resident’s home in Lampang’s Mae Tha district turned out to be a haul of 3,680 methamphetamine pills.
